Everything you need to know about our Maine Coon kittens and adoption process

About Our Kittens

Maine Coons are one of the largest domesticated cat breeds, known for their friendly, gentle nature and distinctive physical features including tufted ears, bushy tails, and a luxurious coat. They're often called 'gentle giants' due to their affectionate personality and dog-like behavior. They're highly intelligent, social, and make wonderful family pets.
Male Maine Coons typically weigh between 15-25 pounds, while females usually range from 10-15 pounds. They continue to grow until they're about 3-5 years old. Their length (including tail) can reach up to 40 inches, making them one of the longest domestic cat breeds.
Yes! Maine Coons are known for their gentle, patient nature, making them excellent companions for families with children. They also typically get along well with other cats and cat-friendly dogs. Their sociable personality means they enjoy being part of family activities.
With proper care, Maine Coons typically live 12-15 years, and some live even longer. Regular veterinary check-ups, a healthy diet, and a loving environment all contribute to a long, healthy life.

Health & Genetics

Yes, all our breeding cats undergo comprehensive health testing including HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy) echocardiograms, hip dysplasia evaluation via X-ray, and genetic testing for SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) and PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease). Each kitten comes with a complete health record.
We provide a comprehensive 2-year health guarantee against genetic defects. If your kitten is diagnosed with a hereditary condition within this period, we will work with you to find a solution, which may include a replacement kitten. Please see our Health Guarantee page for complete details.
All kittens receive age-appropriate vaccinations including FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, and Panleukopenia) at 8 weeks and 12 weeks. We also provide deworming treatments and a health examination by our veterinarian before the kitten goes home.
Yes, all our kittens are microchipped before going to their new homes. We register the microchip in your name and provide you with all the necessary information to update the registration with your contact details.

Adoption Process

To reserve a kitten, first browse our available kittens and submit an adoption application. Once approved, you'll place a non-refundable deposit of $500 to reserve your chosen kitten. We'll keep you updated with photos and videos as your kitten grows.
Each kitten includes: up-to-date vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, a 2-year health guarantee, a kitten care package with food samples, a favorite toy, a blanket with mom's scent, and lifetime breeder support.
Our kittens are ready to join their new families at 12-14 weeks of age. This allows them to be fully weaned, properly socialized with their littermates, complete their initial vaccination series, and develop the confidence they need for a smooth transition.
We welcome visits from approved adopters! For the health and safety of our cats and kittens, we schedule visits by appointment only after your application has been approved. Virtual tours via video call are also available.

Shipping & Delivery

Yes, we offer nationwide shipping within the US for $190 and international shipping for $300. Prices may vary based on location. We use pet-safe airlines and ensure your kitten travels comfortably in an airline-approved carrier with all necessary documentation.
The shipping cost includes: an airline-approved carrier, health certificate from our veterinarian, flight booking and all airline fees, travel water and food dishes, a comfort blanket, and real-time tracking updates during transit.
We welcome in-person pickups. You can pick up your kitten from our cattery, which gives you the opportunity to meet our cats, receive hands-on care instructions, and start your journey home with your new companion.
We only ship kittens when weather conditions are safe. We use climate-controlled cargo areas, book direct flights when possible, and ensure kittens are well-hydrated and comfortable before travel. We provide detailed instructions for receiving your kitten at the airport.

Care & Maintenance

Maine Coons have a semi-long coat that requires regular grooming. We recommend brushing 2-3 times per week to prevent matting and reduce shedding. Regular nail trimming, ear cleaning, and dental care are also important parts of their grooming routine.
We recommend high-quality, protein-rich cat food. We'll provide information about the food your kitten has been eating, and any dietary transition should be done gradually over 7-10 days. Fresh water should always be available.
Yes! We offer lifetime breeder support. We're always available to answer questions about your Maine Coon's health, behavior, nutrition, or any concerns that arise. We love receiving updates and photos of our kittens in their forever homes!
